Bone broth has many health benefits for both digestion and respiratory health. It’s packed full of protein, vitamins and minerals. It’s also SUPER easy to make!

Place all of these ingredients in the crock pot:

  • Chicken carcass
  • Water, enough to cover the carcass
  • Bay leaf
  • 1 white onion, sliced into large pieces
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1/2 bunch celery
  • Garlic, thyme, salt, pepper to taste

Cook for 18-24 hours, until the bones become soft

I use the broth to make soup, use it as a replacement for butter in mashed potatoes and drink it straight!  I freeze anything I’m not using at the time so I have some ready to go down the road!
